Burnout (prevention)

Burnout is a condition that develops when you experience too much stress for too long and you feel overwhelmed and unable to meet constant demands. You eventually lose interest and withdraw.

Common symptoms of burnout are: Mental and physical exhaustion, feelings of helplessness and detachment, insecurities, becoming cynical and resentful.

Physical symptoms are insomnia, heart palpitations, tightness of the chest, headaches and muscle aches.
Psychological symptoms include irritability, mood swings, lack of concentration, and memory problems.

If you recognize the warning signals on time, you can take steps to get your life back into balance.  And prevent a serious burnout. You might need guidance from a therapist to help you in the process.
